Manuplas have recently branched out into different areas within the renewables industry:

  2. Capability of applying specialist polyurethane elastomer coatings to protect fendering systems from corrosion, abrasion or impact.
  3. Manuplas are currently developing an innovative and unique technology to make access to wind turbines easier and safer when undertaking routine inspections and maintenance.
  4. Experience in the design and manufacture of floating structures is providing Manuplas with exclusive methods to develop ways to harness wave energy.
  5. A product range has been successfully launched for the protection of cables linked with wind turbine and wave energy.
  6. Polyurethane castings can be designed, supplied and manufactured with expertise using a selection of polyurethane elastomer formulations either filled or unfilled.  These are widely sold for use in wind turbine or wave/tidal structures for structural or weight saving applications.
