Small yacht mooring buoys, designed and manufactured by Manuplas are available in two distinct assembly types: hard and soft.

Both are available with a shackle recess.  Small mooring buoys with hard assemblies are recommended for fore and aft mooring systems of small yachts whereas soft assemblies are recommended for single buoy mooring systems of small yachts.

 

Construction: 

Hard assembly

  • Rigid moulded EPS foam core
  • Self-colour spray applied elastomer skin
  • Galvanised steel wear protection plate
  • Standard chain size: 19mm
  • Available in orange or yellow colours as standard
Hard assembly:
  • Thermolaminated resilient polyethylene foam fore
  • Self-colour spray applied polyerethane elastomer skin
  • Galvanised steel wear protection plate
  • Standard chain size: 19mm
  • Available in orange or yellow as standard

 

Features:

  • Manufactured from durable and long lasting materials
  • Virtually non-marking skin
  • Wear and abrasion resistant outer skin prolongs the service life of the buoy
  • Virtually unsinkable if outer skin is severely damaged, therefore maximising service reliability
